0. About
Duplibase Software introduces a new approach to handling big quantities of CD/DVD media. In simple case you need a CD/DVD database only for searching some files (software, video/audio/...). There are many such programs.
But when you have a new folder with many many new files, you simply don't know if these files new or you already have some of them on some CD/DVD. If you want to delete files that you have somewhere, you need to find them first. But how?
CD Duplibase finds duplicate files very quickly with using database technologies. Note that CD Duplibase finds not local duplicates in local folders (on hard drive). CD Duplibase finds all duplicates from any CD/DVD that you've added to database.
Example 1.
John downloads many software from Internet and saves all files in folder "New Files". From time to time he burns CD disks with software.
But when he has about 70 CDs, he can't remember all software that he has on disks. Also he can't remember what files have duplicates (burned on CD) and what files are new (not burned anywhere).
Then John uses CD Duplibase :

and detects that 623 files from this folder have duplicates on some disks:

Then he can delete them by selecting all
and pressing "Delete...".
If you think that this is useful, Download CD Duplibase now!

The dialog "Add volume" will appear. Select drive or folder that you want to add in database, type volume name and press "Scan" button.

- Delete these files (you already have them on some devices), or
- Move them to some folder for backup purposes, or
- Copy them to some folder for backup purposes;
